We welcome you to book over the phone. If you are an existing client, we can also set you up to book your own appointments online – please contact us for details.
When you book an appointment, you are agreeing to our Cancellation policies below.
We require a valid credit card number to reserve your appointment. No charges will be made to your credit card until your service is completed, or if our Cancellation Policy takes effect. If you don’t have a credit card, you can pre-pay for your services in cash (24 hours in advance) to hold your reservation.
A 50% deposit is required for group bookings.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, debit or cash. We do not accept American Express.
Please let us know when you are booking an appointment with a gift certificate.
* wayspa and samba days gift certificates/cards are redeemable for facials, body treatments, the rejuvenate package and manicure pedicure combo treatments only, absolutely no exceptions.
We are a small Ottawa spa and during busy times space can be limited. Since we turn away other clients to hold your reservation, the following cancellation policies help us provide the best service at good prices:
- If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, a 24 hour cancellation is required and a 48 hour for multiple services, including group bookings of 3 or more). Since I have reserved that time for you and turned away other bookings, insufficient notice will result with a full charge to be applied to your account (or a credit card charge) or equivalent deduction from gift certificates.
- We realize that sometimes a sudden illness can prevent you from giving 24 hours cancellation notice, in this instance your account (or a credit card charge) will be charged 50% of your service price or equivalent deduction from gift certificate.
- A 50% security deposit is required for group (3 or more persons) bookings. No-shows for group bookings will be charged 100% of the service cost to the credit card provided upon reservation.
There is usually plenty of free street parking (2 and 3 hour zones) on side-streets near the Spa.
Dalhousie has 2-hour paid street parking right outside of the spa. We will be pleased to renew your parking for you if your service is more than 2 hours; the parking fee will simply be added to your final bill.
For longer appointments, we recommend the parking lot beside Upward Dog Yoga, at the corner of St. Patrick and Dalhousie, at a cost of $6.00 per day.
Please turn your cell phone off when you arrive. When you speak on your phone during a treatment, it is disruptive to all.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointments. This will give you time to settle in, use the restroom, fill out any forms, and enjoy an organic tea. (If your appointment is first thing in the morning, you don’t need to arrive early.)
As a courtesy to the next client, our treatment session start and end punctually, so arriving late will rob you of precious treatment minutes. We fully understand that being late is sometimes outside of your control and we will always do our best to accommodate late arrivals by performing the most complete treatment possible in the time remaining.
If you arrive too late for us to perform a service will result in full charges (equivalent deductions from gift certificates) without the opportunity to reschedule.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we do not use disposable slippers and flip flops. You will be offered a pair when you arrive – we clean these between each use. We also welcome you to bring your own slippers or flip flops if you prefer.
In order to help us provide a soothing atmosphere, please keep your voice down when you are in any part of the spa. We do not allow hard-soled shoes in the area of the treatment rooms.
We are pleased to call you with an appointment reminder – please let us know if you would like help remembering your appointment.
Daya Spa will provide a receipt for a credit or an exchange on any unused item in its original packaging within 15 days of purchase.
Please note that, occasionally, product seals arrive broken. There is nothing wrong with the product and the protective seals often separate during shipping as they are meant to come off with the first opening of the jar.
